To research the incidence, severity of RP and help compile a protocol for screening, diagnosis, treatment and monitoring of patients with RP.<\/p>

To determine the steps that must be followed and the protocols that must be designed for the dynamic follow-up in order to minimize the disability in these patients.<\/p>

It also facilitates to prepare a well-defined psychosocial and health support strategy for individuals who do not benefit from medical treatment.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/details>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t

The primary goal of this research is to identify risk factors and early indicators of Acute Renal Damage among Intensive Care Unit (ICU) patients. This Study underscores the critical role of prompt identification and subsequent nephroprotective interventions in preventing the onset or progression of Acute Kidney Injury (AKI), thereby protecting renal function and improving patient outcomes in critically ill populations.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/details>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t

The aim of this study is to evaluate if SGLT2 inhibitors do really improve the quality of life of the patients, increase the life expectancy and reduce the costs of hospitalizations due to the reduction of heart failure in albanian population. Artificial Intelligence processing (from the researcher\u2019s group Sorbone University) of ECG data aims to highlight whether these medications have a positive or negative impact on ECG.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/details>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t

The aim of the project is to assess the quality of life in cancer patients diagnosed and treated at the \"Mother Teresa\" University Hospital, the role of early assessment of quality of life in the early mortality of cancer patients and the creation of a database on the quality of life in cancer patients, which will serve to create clear algorithms for the follow-up strategy and the identification of factors that influence the improvement or deterioration of the quality of life in cancer patients with the aim of improving the service to the patient .<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/details>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t

The purpose of the project is to identify the current practice of assessment and management of chronic non-oncological pain in primary health care settings and to improve it by increasing the capacities of primary care health personnel, including family doctors and nurses, with an impact on increasing the quality of care offered and reducing health costs related to this issue.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/details>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t

Project titled \u201cThe evaluation of total removable dentures constructed through third impression versus the conventional method<\/em>\u201d, led by Prof. Dr. Edit Xhajanka.<\/p>

The purpose of our study is to determine the efficiency of using the piezography impression (tertiary) in the construction of total dentures, especially in small lower jaws and atrophy of the third class. Also, the purpose of the study is to determine the neutral space of the prosthetic equilibrium following a functional technique (through the phonetic method and functional movements) and to respect it in the construction of the total dentures.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/details>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

Project titled \u201cEnhancement of the Molecular Biology Laboratory Infrastructure in the Clinical Genetics Laboratory Service through the Application of Advanced Genomic Techniques (Next Generation Sequencing)\u201d<\/em>, led by Prof. Dr. Anila Laku (Babameto).<\/p>

The purpose of this project is to create infrastructure for the application of contemporary techniques to conduct scientific research in the field of Molecular Biology (MB). By investing in new equipment and technologies, we create the opportunity for molecular diagnosis of high-prevalence diseases, such as neuromuscular diseases, as well as the application of advanced molecular techniques for the diagnosis and treatment of malignant hemopathies and solid tumors.<\/p>
