The Rector of the University of Medicine, Tirana, Prof. Dr. Xheladin Draçini, held a meeting with Ms. Maria Wesołowska, representative of the Department of Medical Biology and Parasitology at Wroclaw Medical University, Poland, during her visit to UMT within the framework of the Erasmus+ academic staff mobility programme.
During the meeting, discussions focused on strengthening interinstitutional cooperation, expanding opportunities for academic staff mobility, and further developing collaboration in the fields of teaching and scientific research between the two universities.
During her stay at UMT, Ms. Wesołowska will hold meetings with department representatives and academic staff of the relevant units. She will become acquainted with the university’s academic and research activities, while the visit will serve as an opportunity for the exchange of experiences and best practices in the fields of internationalization, scientific research, and institutional development.
The University of Medicine, Tirana remains committed to expanding international partnerships and promoting academic and scientific exchange within the framework of Erasmus+ programmes.
