On 22 June 2026, the 4th International Conference on Public Health and Environment (ICPHE 2026) was held, an important scientific event that brought together researchers, academics, experts, and professionals from various fields, including public health, environment, biology, and medical sciences. The conference was organized by the Academy of Sciences of Albania in collaboration with George Mason University (USA) and Collegium Ramazzini (Italy), creating an important platform for knowledge exchange, the presentation of the latest scientific findings, and the strengthening of international academic cooperation.
In his welcoming remarks, the Rector of the University of Medicine, Tirana, Prof. Dr. Xheladin Draçini, emphasized the importance of international scientific conferences in promoting scientific research, innovation, and the exchange of academic experiences. He acknowledged the contribution of participating researchers and experts, highlighting that challenges related to public health and the environment require close interinstitutional cooperation and evidence-based solutions.
During the conference, scientific papers were presented and discussions were held on current issues related to public health, environmental protection, and sustainable development, providing new recommendations and perspectives for research and policy-making in these fields.
