Project titled “Establishment of pharmaceutical laboratory research infrastructure in the Department of Pharmacy, UMT”, led by Prof. Assoc. Entela Haloçi.
The main objective of this project is to modernize and strengthen pharmaceutical research infrastructure by establishing laboratories equipped with advanced technologies, enabling the development of innovative drugs and new formulations. This supports curriculum improvement for the MSc in Pharmacy, aligning it with current industry needs and enhancing graduate employability. The initiative also focuses on human capacity building through specialized training, boosting research quality on drug efficacy and safety. Additionally, it aims to offer third-party services to contribute to the community and generate revenue for the university. The infrastructure will be open to other institutions and will seek ISO 17025 accreditation to ensure reliable and high-quality laboratory testing.
