Universiteti i Mjekësisë, Tiranë informon personelin shkencor të interesuar mbi mundësinë e aplikimit për Çmimin e ofruar nga Banka Islamike e Zhvillimit që do t’i akordohet shkencëtareve femra për kontributin e tyre në zhvillimin shkencor në studimet mbi kancerin, me titull “Women’s Contribution to the Prevention and Control of Cancer”. The Islamic Development Bank (IDB) would like to inform you that the deadline of accepting applications for its 12th Edition of the IDB Prize for Women’s Contribution to Development is EXTENDED till the 31st of Dec. 2016.
The IDB, a multilateral development institution fostering economic development and social progress in 57 countries across the world, annually awards this Prize to recognize and reward women’s contribution to the socioeconomic development process.
The Prize consists of a cash award of US$ 50,000 for an individual woman and a cash award of US$ 100,000 for a non-governmental organization.
In order to highlight various issues shaping our world and their specific effects on women, the theme of the Prize varies each year. This years’ Prize is devoted to “Women’s Contribution to the Prevention and Control of Cancer” and the categorical topics are as follows:
¨ For Individuals: Women’s Contribution to the Prevention and Control of Cancer.
¨ For Organizations: Women’s Leadership in the Prevention and Control of Cancer.
