MUNDËSI PËR PJESËMARRJE NË KONFERENCËN "OXFORD UNIVERSITY NATIONAL MAJOR TRAUMA & PRE-HOSPITAL EMERGENCY MEDICINE"

Universiteti i Mjekësisë, Tiranë informon studentët dhe profesionistët e shëndetit të interesuar në fushat e traumës dhe urgjencës mbi mundësinë e pjesëmarrjes në Konferencën “Oxford University National Major Trauma and Pre-Hospital Emergency Medicine Conference 2016 (OxPHEM 2016)”, që organizohet nga Shoqata e Traumës dhe Mjekësisë së Urgjencës së Universitetit të Oksfordit, në datat 11-12 Nëntor 2016, pranë Spitalit John Radcliffe, në Oksford, Angli.

Venue: John Radcliffe Hospital, Oxford.

Aimed at medical students, junior doctors and allied-health professionals with any interest in acute critical care, and particularly in major trauma and pre-hospital emergency medicine, this two-day conference combines:

• • Stimulating lectures from expert speakers– so far including: Dr David Zideman (Clinical Lead for Emergency Medical Services at the London 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games), Dr Matt Edwards (Flying Doctor for AMREF in East Africa and Emergency Medicine Registrar in London), and Gary Baldwin (Supervisor, Forensic Collision Investigation Unit for Hampshire and Thames Valley Police)
  • Practical skills sessions
  • Poster presentations
  • Black-tie Gala Dinner and Drinks Reception

Abstract Submissions:

We are inviting 300 word abstracts for poster presentations in the field of major trauma, pre-hospital and emergency medicine.

This is an opportunity to get creative and showcase any relevant work in these broad fields- be inventive!

Selected posters will be displayed and presented at the conference being seen by speakers and delegates.

Prizes will be awarded to top posters!

Delegates should email their submissions to oxphem@gmail.com by midnight, 9th October 2016.
